Frequently asked

Are these the official GTA 6 system requirements?
No. Rockstar has not published official GTA 6 PC system requirements, and there is no confirmed PC version at launch. The figures here are a careful estimate based on the PS5 / Xbox Series X|S hardware GTA 6 targets and on comparable open-world PC releases — they are not leaked or official specs. We update this checker the moment Rockstar confirms the real numbers.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not at launch. GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only; Rockstar has not announced a PC version or a PC release date. Historically Rockstar brings its games to PC later, so a PC port is widely expected — but nothing is confirmed, which is exactly why our requirements are an estimate.
How accurate is the “Can I Run GTA 6?” estimate?
It is a considered estimate, not a guarantee. We anchor the Minimum bar to roughly current-gen console-equivalent PC hardware and the Recommended bar a clear step above it, then map popular CPUs and GPUs onto those bars. Treat the verdict as a guide; we will replace every number with the official specs as soon as Rockstar publishes them.
How much storage and RAM will GTA 6 need on PC?
Our estimate is 16GB of RAM and around 150GB of free SSD space. Modern open-world games of this scale routinely need a fast SSD, so we assume an SSD rather than a hard drive. These figures are estimates and may change when official specs land.

The “Can I Run GTA 6?” checker is Open World Wire’s honest estimate while official specs don’t exist. We’d rather say “no official requirements yet — here’s a careful estimate” than post fake “leaked” specs as fact. Tiers and bars live in two editable files; the page updates the moment Rockstar confirms.
